Gatorboard is a rigid foam-core panel, so it is by far the lightest of our large-format finishes. You can carry even a large sign one-handed, and it will not strain an easel or need a heavy-duty stand. That lightness is exactly why it travels so well and why it is the practical choice for big signs on a budget.

No, and this is worth knowing before the day: none of our signs are freestanding, whatever the material. Every sign needs something holding it.

Acrylic, gold mirror and gatorboard sit on an easel or a pedestal block, or lean against a wall with something gripping the base. Gatorboard is the lightest of the three, which makes it the easiest to stand, but it still needs that support behind it.

Flat Print is our alternative to a paper poster: it lays flat on its own but needs a frame or a board behind it to stand.

Fabric hangs rather than stands: slide a 1 inch rod through the pole pocket along the top and hang it from a backdrop frame, banner stand or arch.

Mirror decal is applied straight onto a surface you already have, so nothing extra is needed.

First, the practical part: gatorboard is rigid and holds its shape, but like all of our signs it does not stand up on its own. Plan on one of the options below.

An easel is the simplest option and the one most venues have on hand. Because gatorboard is so light, you do not need a heavy-duty stand, and a pedestal block works just as well if you want the sign lifted to eye level.

It also mounts easily: removable adhesive strips will hold it flat against a wall or a door, which acrylic is generally too heavy to do safely. Leaning works too, though the light weight means it can shift if it gets knocked, so give it a stable ledge.

Decide where the sign lives before the day and tell your coordinator, so it does not default to the nearest empty table.

Yes, always, and at no extra cost. Within 3 business days of your order, we prepare a mockup, check your design by hand and send it to you to approve.

This is where most errors get caught: a misspelled surname, a date typed as the wrong year, a guest missing from a seating chart. It is worth reading your proof slowly and out loud. Reply within 3 days with any changes. If we don't hear back, we print it as shown so your signs arrive in time.

Production begins once your proof is approved, or 3 days after we send it if we haven't heard back, so the clock starts there rather than at checkout. Proofs go out within 3 business days of your order, orders ship within 2 weeks of approval, and US delivery typically takes 2 to 7 business days.

Our guidance: order earlier than feels necessary. Signs that depend on final numbers, like seating charts, should wait for your RSVPs, but everything else is better handled while you still have room to breathe.

Yes. The names, dates and details are yours to set when you order, and you can choose from twenty colors for the design and either black or white for the text. Fabric signs are printed on white fabric, with the lettering in any color.
